Previously this trophy was presented to the winner of the Maffra Mardi Gras criterium winner held in March. Due to circumstances beyond our clubs control the Maffra Mardi Gras race will no longer be able to continue. Therefore to continue the tradition and keep the respect for these two wheeled warriors alive the Race makes its way out to Briagolong.
